Finally, after being on my mind for two years, I got my first tattoo. There are so many words that I have for it and so much love behind it. But I’ll try to be as brief as I can.
Many of you know that I am an active “Whose Line is it Anyway?” fan. I’ve been watching the show since I was nine, before I could understand any of the dirty humor. For the last 12 years, “Whose Line” has enriched my life and made me a better person. It can make me laugh on any day in the worst I could possibly be in. I’ve met a lot of their main cast members, and they are genuinely kind, like a lifelong best friend. I also give “Whose Line” credit for saving my life at one point.
This show also introduced me to improv theatre, which is one of my biggest passions. Improv is one of very few hobbies that truly fills me completely. Being on a stage where I can be anything I want to be makes me feel free and alive.
Above all, comedy is important to me because it’s a part of how I connect with people. Laughter is an infectious universal language that allows me to create moments of joy with others, even those who have done me wrong. If I can laugh with you, I am happy, and I can believe that the universe is made of good people with good intentions.
I love, love, love my new artwork, and I dedicate it to the show and the people that changed my life in the best way possible. Whosers forever.
Now there’s a Whoser.
